Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using Yuna ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Yuna. By using the Service you confirm you meet this requirement.

3. Your Account

• You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
• You must provide accurate information during registration.
• One account per person. You may not share your account.
• Notify us immediately at hello@yunachat.ai if you suspect unauthorised access.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Generate or share illegal, harmful, abusive, or sexually explicit content.
• Harass, threaten, or impersonate others.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the platform.
• Circumvent tier limits or payment requirements.
• Upload images or content you do not have the right to use.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

5. Content You Upload

You retain ownership of images and text you provide. By uploading content you grant Yuna a limited licence to store and process it solely to deliver the Service. We do not use your content to train AI models.

6. AI-Generated Content & Nature of Companions

AI companions are not real people. They are software programs that generate automated text responses. By using Yuna you acknowledge and agree that:

• AI companions do not have feelings, consciousness, memories outside of a session, or genuine relationships.
• You will not treat AI companions as real humans or substitute them for real human relationships, professional advice, or emotional support services.
• Responses may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate. Do not rely on them for medical, legal, financial, or safety decisions.
• You interact with AI companions entirely at your own risk.

7. Subscriptions & Payments

• Free tier features are available at no cost.
• Silver and Gold tiers are available as one-time purchases processed securely via Stripe (credit/debit card) or PayPal.
• Payment processing is handled by Stripe, Inc. and PayPal Holdings, Inc. respectively. Yuna does not store your card or bank details.
• All purchases are one-time payments; there are no recurring subscriptions unless explicitly stated at checkout.
• All payments are final. Refunds are issued at our sole discretion within 14 days of purchase if the Service materially fails to work as described.
• Prices may change. Existing purchasers keep their tier benefits.

8. Voice Message Allocation

Voice message credits are a one-time allocation granted at the time of purchase. They do not expire or reset monthly. Unused credits have no cash value.

9. Service Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

10. Intellectual Property

The Yuna name, logo, and platform code are our intellectual property. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Yuna's total liability for any claim arising from use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. We will notify you of material changes by email or in-app notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Yuna operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
